Generate a Market Analysis Report

Walkthrough

1. Open or create a Space for the analysis

Scope to the use case — a region, a vertical, or a specific opportunity.

2. Run the prompt

Run a market analysis for the Dallas-Fort Worth metro for a grocery format. Use our archetype profile.

Specifying "use our archetype profile" tells Curated to ground the analysis in your customer/format profile if you have one in the workspace. If not, omit that clause and Curated will use a generic archetype.

3. What the playbook does

The Market Analysis playbook pulls together:

  • Demographics — population, age distribution, household income, growth rate (via Esri GeoEnrichment)
  • Consumer behavior — Tapestry segments aligned to the format's typical customer
  • Demand indicators — household formation, daytime population, seasonal patterns
  • Supply / competitive density — existing operators in the format, by chain and intensity
  • Growth signals — recent permits (via Hubexo), construction pipeline, demographic shift
  • Macro context — employment, major employers, transportation, planned infrastructure

4. Compare markets

5. Refine the profile

If the default archetype isn't quite right:

Update the archetype to skew toward households with kids and income $90k+. Re-rank.

Curated will adjust the demographic weights and re-run.

6. Output

The Market Analysis artifact has its own URL, version history, and PDF export. Save it, share it, or branch it for a sensitivity analysis.
